why are we back to school so soon? what ever happened to the summer?
Yes, it's that time of year again! Make sure you're at school on Friday to vote for next years house leaders!!!! Heck, if you really want to, you can even vote for me, Stacey Rochetta, as Keswick house leader, because I'm not against shameless self promotion! YAY!!!
I will most likely be unable to get this put on the morning announcements now because I spent all my free time today on a rather exciting adventure of wandering, so I decided to post this here.
Pagan Guild meeting. Thursday. Lunch. Room 17. Bring any and all pagan-related literature you can. (Tis a resource-sharing meeting...thingie...this week.)
Thanks. *sweeping bow*
Talent show today! Anyone else love it? So good.
Has anyone else noticed that the school seems different from previous years? I don't know if it's the new administration, or the new batch of grade 9's, but the school seems more hostile to me now. I could be wrong, though... but it just seems like there's a lot of inconsiderate people. Like people who stop in the middle of the staircase, or little shitheads who laugh while somebody is in a talent show. I was ready to bring the pain... I'd like to see him do better! Ugh, I'm just really annoyed with the attitude I've seen in the school recently. Now, I could be wrong, but that's just the way it's seeming to me.
Haha, somebody tell me if they think I'm crazy... I really hope I'm just imagining it or something... I'd hate to think that this school that I love so much is changing for the worse...
Ms Simpson gave me her official approval today of the Pagan group - I think I'm going to call it the Pagan Guild because guild sounds cool - I've been trying to start. Ms Dempsey is going to be the techer advisor and there seem to be quite a few people interested, but I need to get some people to help me with planning and organising meetings and such, so if anyone knows anyone who might be interested, send 'em my way. Anyhow, I'm very excited and thanks for your suggestions for teachers to ask for supervision and such. ^_^
So, like, after an unexpectedly enjoyable Studies in Lit. class
('unexpectedly' as that class is just not particularly enjoyable) in which we had our 'Book Club' meeting, amongst my groups 'omgzit'sjustsointense' ramblings, a thought of an actual Book Club within the school popped up momentarily, and then was gone. I came home and thought about this a bit and felt it would really be a splendid idea.
So, any thoughts? Anyone want to help me out? After the most disastrous Newspaper incident, I don't really want to start another club without something solid to work with, but I wouldn't know where to begin.
